ABOUT THE AUSTIN CHAPTER

The Austin Chapter of the Lone Star Land Cruisers Association consists of people who enjoy Toyota off road vehicles. Most of us live in and around the Austin area. We also have members that live in the surrounding areas. We formally meet once a month to discuss, show and share our passion (addiction). Additionally, we have wheeling events, technical how-tos, host philanthropic events, and have wrenching parties to teach and help other members. Wither you are a collector, restorer, buggy builder, or just love Toyota off road vehicles, we would enjoy having you come to our meetings and events.

ABOUT THE STATEWIDE CHAPTER

Lone Star Land Cruisers (LSLC) is a Texas non-profit association of Toyota Land Cruiser Owners chartered with the Toyota Land Cruiser Association. We are one of the largest and most active Land Cruiser organizations in the U.S. We also advocate membership on the Toyota Land Cruiser Association.  To be an LSLC member, you must be a member of the TLCA.  We support the TLCA and its national effort to unify and organize Land Cruiser owners.  

Our regional groups generally meet once a month, and have frequent off-road functions There is also an email list for our members. By joining the mailing list you can participate in email-based discussions about our club, our Cruisers, and off roading in general.  

Each region elects its own officers who manage the functions of each chapter. The President from each regional chapter serves on the LSLC State Steering Committee.  This Committee is responsible for guiding the activities of all clubs collectively on a statewide basis.

Membership is open to anyone having a valid driver's license and more importantly, a Land Cruiser.  We will accept memberships from owners who do not own a Land Cruiser, but your vehicle must be a Toyota four wheel drive pickup or 4 Runner.  You must own a Land Cruiser to hold an office in the Club.  LSLC has three different types of membership packages available. Individual Membership is open to those individuals and families interested in Toyota 4 wheel drive vehicles.  This includes all models of Land Cruisers, 4Runners, and 4x4 trucks.  The cost is $30 annually.

Associate Membership is open to those individuals and families who live beyond the active area of an LSLC chapter, but wish to enjoy the benefits of the newsletter or email list.  This Membership is also open to certain eligible individuals such as dealership employees, automotive educators, and youngsters without a driver's license or Land Cruiser, but having a Land Cruiser itch.  The cost for an Associate Membership is $15 annually.

Corporate Membership is open to those businesses who promote products and services for our Members.  There is no cost for approved businesses who offer discounted products and services to our members.
